I feel like a pretty slow learner, which may be surprising coming from a self-taught software engineer, but it’s true. I regularly need to learn a new technology, software, or toolset. More often than not I feel like I’m sitting there staring at the wall with no idea where to start. Can anyone relate? I think to myself:

When I first heard about SwiftUI I was pretty excited. I had already been using React (a declarative UI “framework”) for a few years and thought this might be my entrance into creating my first iOS app. So I decided to try SwiftUI and slowly began working on a bucket-list dream of mine—making my own app.

I have to admit that I’m surprised how much I like Notion, I can’t remember why I started to use it last year but there’s a certain type of workflow that I’ve found I absolutely love Notion for. Notion is what I always dreamed Evernote, or Dropbox, or the Apple Notes app could be (I’m a big fan of Apple Notes by the way).
